Please note that VAT and usual disbursements are to be added to our following fees scales. Disbursements are expenses related to your matter that are payable to third parties, such as Counsel fees, Accountant Fees, Court fees, Home Office fees, Immigration health charge. You can choose to instruct us using hourly rate funding option or agreed fees option. The hourly rate to be charged will depend on the complexity of the matter, the Post Qualification Experience (PQE) of the solicitor handling the matter etc,
The following figures quoted are a guide only and the final fees will be agreed by you at initial instructions and have to sign the Fee Agreement.
Most of our our Immigration matters are conducted on an Agreed Fee Basis to help ensure that our clients are aware of the costs upfront. However, in regards to the Judicial Review most of the time it would on hourly rate and in some occasions a base fee will be charged at the initial stage to start the proceedings. The fees listed below are for your guidance only and these may be subject to change following your initial consultation meeting. Should the price estimate below change, we will you will be provided with a new agreed fee prior to commencing any work on your matter.

Please note: Disbursements amounts are outside our control and can be subject to change at any point. The Home Office disbursement fees are subject to change in April and October every year however the prevailing rate will be discussed with you during your initial consultation meeting and you will be informed of any changes to these rates immediately.
Fees are charged based on the time spent on the matter and calculated at the rate of£225 to £300 per hour plus VAT or the fee relevant to the PQE Solicitor conducting the matter. The total fee will depend on the circumstances of the case, including how complicated the estate administration work is, the way the estate is to be distributed, the number of beneficiaries, the nature and extent of the assets and liabilities and any IHT implications. By way of indication, the fees for a probate matter, which involves a single UK residence and few bank accounts in the UK, would take between 10 and 15 hours. The minimum fee would be £1150.00 plus VAT and disbursements.

Our fees for a standard single Will is between £225.00 - £300 per hour plus VAT based on your circumstances. The fees for a Will depend on the areas that need to be covered in the Will, the extent of the assets and liabilities of the estate, how long or how quickly the Will is to be finalised, whether it includes any trusts and the IHT implications involved. Discounts are offered if we are instructed by you and your partner and you come to any meetings together.

If you have a complaint, please contact our Mr. Sohul Ahmed, who is authorised COLP/COFA by the SRA). If we have to change any of the responsibilities or the timescales set out below, we will let you know and explain why.
Within seven days we will send you a letter acknowledging your complaint and asking you to confirm or explain any details. If it seems appropriate, we will suggest a meeting at this stage. We will also let you know the name of the person who will be dealing with your complaint.
We will then record your complaint in our central register and open a file for your complaint. We will also investigate your complaint by examining the relevant file.
We would hope to be in a position to write to you within 21 days after first receiving your complaint dealing with the issues raised and setting out his views on the situation and any redress that we would feel to be appropriate.
At this stage, if you are still not satisfied, please let us know. We will then arrange to review our decision. We would generally aim to do this within 14 days. This will happen in one of the following ways.
- Mr. Ahmed will review his own decision;
- We will arrange for someone in the firm who has not been involved in your complaint to review it;
- Mr. Iftekhar Hossain Partner will review your complaint within 14 days;
- We will invite you to agree to independent mediation. We will let you know how long this process will take;
We will let you know the result of the review within ten days of the end of the review. At this time, we will write to you confirming our final position on your complaint and explaining our reasons.
If we have been unable to settle your complaint using our internal complaints process you have a right to complain to the Legal Ombudsman, an independent complaints body, established under the Legal Services Act 2007, that deals with legal services complaints.
You have six months from the date of this (our final) letter in which to complain to the Legal Ombudsman.
